I don't know any male being, which eats enough fruits and veggies. Because we're vegetarians the latter is no problem in this house.
But fruits are still an issue.

So I try t convince Mister S. by arranging nice breakfast plates for him. I'm not sure if that really helps, but at least I like the look on the table.





Ich kenne wirklich kein männliches Wesen, das genügend Obst und Gemüse isst.
Da wir Vegetarier sind ist zu mindestens das letztere kein Problem, aber Obst ist immer noch so eine Sache.

Also versuche ich Herrn S. zu überzeugen, indem ich seinen Frühstücksteller nett anrichte. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das wirklich hilft, aber immerhin sieht es hübsch aus.

Once we had a very sturdy wooden table big enough to seat ten and more people. But during our renovations we decided that we really don't have the space for such a big item.
Reluctantly we gave it away.
Now we have a much smaller table in our living room, where we can sit with six or seven people and a tiny able in the kitchen just for us two.

In a few years in a hopefully bigger space I want again a big table. I love the warm and comfortable feeling, when friends and familiy gathers around a big table.

But for now in our tiny space everything is just fine.




Früher hatten wir einen richtig robusten Küchentisch, groß genug um zehn oder mehr Leute unterzubringen. Aber während unserer Umbauaktionen haben wir beschlossen, dass wir im Grunde gar nicht den Platz für so ein großes Möbelstück haben.
Schweren Herzens haben wir ihn dann weg gegeben.
Jetzt haben wir einen kleinen Tisch im Wohnzimmer, an dem wir zu sechst oder siebt sitzen können und einen Minitisch in der Küche nur für uns zwei.

In ein paar Jahren, in einem hoffentlich größeren Zuhause will ich wieder einen großen Tisch. Ich mag dieses warme gemütliche Gefühl, wenn sich Freunde und Familie um einen großen Tisch versammeln.

Aber jetzt in unserer kleinen Bude ist das so schon in Ordnung.

A few days ago I bought a bunch of flowers at the supermarket and spitted them up. Now they spruce up our bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen. Not bad for 5€.

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich einen Strauss Blümchen aus dem Supermarkt mitgenommen. Zuhause habe ich die Blumen dann aufgeteilt. Jetzt verschönern sie das Schlafzimmer, das Badezimmer und die Küche. Nicht schlecht für 5€!

Looking on the pictures I have to admit, that I like the first color scheme the most. I think I have to change it as soon as possible.


Oben sieht man die Entwicklung unseres Wohnzimmers. Ich habe mal in alten Fotos gekramt und chronologisch sortiert wie es in dieser Ecke ausgesehen hat. Im Moment gefällt mir das erste Farbschema am besten, ich muss schleunigst wieder umbauen.

Ich habe mir überlegt einige meiner Lieblings-Dawanda-Verkäufer hier vorzustellen.
Die erste ist IsabellasArt.
Sie macht so wunderschöne Sachen, ihre Schattenspielfiguren und Drucke sind wirklich klasse!
Ich habe den Hand of Glory Druck und mag ihn sehr.

Meine liebste Kommode ist auch ins Schlafzimmer umgezogen. Ich brauche sie einfach für meinen ganzen Kram und außerdem mache ich mich jeden Morgen vor dem Spiegel dort über ihr fertig. Das Bild links neben dem Spiegel ist ein Geschenk meiner Patentante. Sie hat es vor vielen Jahren selbst gemacht. Ich liebe es so sehr!
Sie hat all die kleinen Blätter mit der Hand aufgenäht und dann mit Stickerei verziert.

Der Spiegel ist von meinem Opa, er ist ziemlich klein, aber ich mag den Rahmen so.
Das Tablett habe ich aus dem Trödelladen und die Suppenterrine stammt aus der Familie meiner Mutter.

Ich versuche mich in jedem Raum auf eine Art von Metall zu beschränken, im Schlafzimmer ist es Gold.







My beloved dresser went also in the bedroom. I need it for storage and for preparing myself in the morning. The artwork left to the mirror is a gift from my godmother; she made it many years before. I love it so much!
She added all the tiny leafs by hand and embellished them with embroidery.

The mirror is from my grandfather, it's very small, but I like the frame so much.
The tray is from a thrift store and the tureen is from my mother’s family.
I try to limit myself to one kind of metal accessories in a room, in the bedroom gold sets the tone.

In den letzten Monaten habe ich versucht mich ein bisschen besser zu organisieren.
Ein Teil dieses Projekts war auch mein nach Farben sortierter Kleiderschrank und jetzt auch meine ebenso geordneter Schmuck.

Hier also meine Halsketten,alle schön nach Farben sortiert.



In the last months I tried to organize myself a little bit better.
Part of this is my color coded wardrobe and now also my organized jewellery.

Ich habe ja schon von unserer Umbauaktion berichtet. Nun gibt es auch einige Bilder vom Schlafzimmer. Obwohl unsere momentane Wohnung echt zu klein ist, liebe ich das Licht und die helle luftige Stimmung hier so sehr!

Für's Schlazimmer habe ich versucht nur bereits hier exitierenden Kram zu benutzen. Außer einigen Bildern und Textilien ist alles alt.

Die Tischdecke über dem Bett und die Ornamente daneben mag ich ganz besonders.
